Monday night’s event at Fendi Casa, a "Study in Jet Black and Milk White” curated by designer Faye Resnick was a smashing success and a classy night to remember. The event was attended by several notables, including Entourage’s Kevin Connolly, Kathy and Rick Hilton & True Blood’s Tara Buck, amongst others.

The showroom, designed in Resnick's trademark stark black and white pallete and featuring Fendi's couture line of home furnishings, was adorned with classic Hollywood photographs shot by Murray Garrett, courtesy of Photographers Gallery.

Fendi Casa's president Luca Buttazoni said, "We were honored to feature Faye Resnick and her creativity for our final designer series event of 2008. Her collaboration with Murray Garrett, Photographers Gallery and Kathy Hilton offered a unique experience for a truly memorable evening." Gallery owner Keith Milton said, "I was very impressed by Faye's design, the black-and-white theme complimented the sophistication of Murray Garrett's photography perfectly.

Fendi Casa was so impressed with Garrett's elegant prints that they requested they remain on display after the opening night. The collection includes incredible, candid photographs of Marilyn Monroe, Marlon Brando and Frank Sinatra. The selections are only a fraction of Photographers Gallery's hand-selected collection that's been a hit with celebrities and interior designers since its opening in 2002. Fendi Casa and Faye Resnick's elegant blend of photography, design and furnishings will be on display at the Robertson Blvd. showroom until the end of January.
